that can be used in a wide range of popular programs: Chess Assistant, Chess
Base, Fritz, Shredder, Hiarcs, Junior and etc.
DVD with Nalimov Endgame Tablebases (all 3-4-5 pieces) .
This 9 Gb DVD contains the complete solutions to ALL endgame positions that have 3, 4 or 5 pieces
on the board.
Just set up any 3,4 or 5 piece position and the Nalimov Endgame Tablebases will tell you:
- the correct evaluation of the position
- the strongest continuation in the position plus all important sidelines.
If a playing program analyses any position with 5 pieces or less in any variation it examines it immediately calls up the evaluation for that position from the Nalimov Tablebase rather than the engine's own evaluatory processes.
You can easily practice your endgame technique by playing the engine in a position found in the Nalimov
Tablebases, e.g. if you want to practice forcing a win in a queen versus rook endgame.
2 additional DVDs with Nalimov Endgame Tablebases (6 pieces selected ) . These two DVD
include 18 Gb covering the following six piece endgames:
Rook and two pawns against Rook
Rook against three pawns
Bishop and two pawns against Rook
Knight and two pawns against Rook
+8 still rarer kinds of 6-piece endings
