A luxury wooden set hand carved to the highest standards. Note the intricate design of the King's crown and the exquisite Knight's head and mane. The carving of all the major pieces is astonishingly detailed, for example the Bishop's mitre is deep set and the Queen's coronet finely carved to produce an angular effect. The King's leather base bears the mark of the English Chess Company in gold colored lettering. All pieces have leather bases and two extra Queens are included as standard.
