PocketFritz 3 gives you direct access to the new high-speed online database of games, containing over four million games, developed by ChessBase. Any search will be answered instantly by the ChessBase server, which is kept up-to-date on a weekly basis. You can retrieve all games in which the current position occurred, or review the latest ideas in openings theory, with full statistical information on all moves that can be played and their chances of success. The improved and enhanced analysis mode of PocketFritz 3 delivers full information on the search, like depth, evaluation and main line. But it can also display multiple lines (best, next best, etc.) and annotate your games. You can also install other chess engines, apart from Hiarcs and Crafty, which are part of the PocketFritz 3 package. With it you get a tournament tested openings book, over 300 annotated games in PGN format, and search functions for players, tournaments, ECO openings codes and the current board position.
