Our Rheims chessmen feature the popular and traditional French styling; the Black pieces are fashioned from luxurious ebony and the White army is made from boxwood. The extra weighting gives additional heft to the pieces, including Kings which weigh a full three ounces. Note that the Rheims chess pieces are also available with a matching chess board (see sidebar).
