A luxury wooden set hand carved to the highest standards. Note the intricate design of the King's crown and the exquisite Knight's head and mane. The carving of all the major pieces is astonishingly detailed, for example the Bishop's mitre is deep set and the Queen's coronet finely carved to produce an angular effect. The King's leather base bears the mark of the English Chess Company in gold coloured lettering.

The craftsmen have combined traditional and contemporary elements into a unique and beautiful set. The Knight's mane and head collar are the most stunning features, intricately hand carved while the other pieces have a more rounded edge. The King's leather base bears the mark of the English Chess Company in fold colored lettering. All pieces are triple-weighted and the set comes with two extra Queens as standard.
