This unique chess set is hand painted, with the dark pieces in bloody crimson and the light pieces in iron gray. The King is an imposing 4.25" tall with a 1.375" base. The chess set is ceramic, made of hydrostone and Tufstone - a very hard gypsum material with resin fibers added for extra strength, giving each chess piece the natural look, feel and weight of stone.
